I have 11 (9 hobs and 2 jills), run a small rescue home for strays in the
Birmingham UK area. Very few manage to get re-united, but I rehome some.

On second thoughts - maximum was 7. My memory must be going, we've had 8

Our max was 6 then 8 then 9 and now 12. So far 12 has held firm.
